Dad Update
As you may have read previously, my dad was at the hospital recently for a biopsy. Unfortunately he got news (on Father's Day) that he does indeed have prostate cancer. Fortunately the cancer is isolated in his prostate and he decided today (with the recommendation from his doctor) that he will have surgery to remove his prostate. This is supposedly better than having radiation treatment because the cancer will be less likely to return if the prostate is gone.
So the big C... not fun but he is fine and everyone is very optimistic. Dad is a big Catholic and has a fantastic outlook on life. He truly believes that what happens, happens and is meant to be. I think he might actually be more upset about the Spurs losing to the Mavs in game 7 of the playoffs :)
Cool thing is that robots will be performing the surgery. That means there will be a much less likely chance of anyone accidentally dropping Junior Mints in him :) He's supposed to have a full recovery and should be up and about in about 3 weeks.

I am surrounding your father in loving adoration and light as this is being typed. May all be well.

Dearest Phil,
My prayers and healing thoughts are with you and your father. My grandmother was recently diagnosed with colon cancer…and just yesterday got home from the hospital after her surgery. I can definitely relate. If there's any way I can support you, let me know.
Blessings & Light,
Carly
Blessings to you and your father!
Thank you everyone! Dad’s surgery has FINALLY been set for July 31st.
