Music by Phil Castillo © 2006
As you may know, my latest project is composing original music for the human rights organization Witness. This music will be initially released on Zaadz exclusively and the first episode is ready for your viewing.
The first snipet is from the video Season of Fear (read more here). Music is performed and recorded by Phil Castillo using western and Asian instruments.
The clips only contain video and music, but they are subtitled. This project is for a non-profit organization and is for promotional purposes only.
Tons more music to come, including standalone music based on themes developed in the video projects!

powerful…
It is such a very rare thing for my mind to slow down the static enough to fully experience just ONE thing in the moment. This music completely overwhelmed the chatter in my mind and I was absorbed. I'm almost without proper words. It was powerful, beautiful, and magical for me.
I don't speak music lingo…but the way all of the different sounds complimented one another fascinated me.
I certainly look forward to more.
Absolutely amazing! I didn't see the video, but closed my eyes for the listening and found it trance inducing. I'm going to go listen again!
(I love this new edit feature!) I'm just back from listening again. This time I opened my eyes and browsed the link Phil provided to Witness while I listened. I prepared and sent the fax, and then I bookmarked the page. There is a professor where I work who each semester has a class in which she assigns research on this issue. The students work very hard and are - every semester without exception - absolutely passionate about the Burma situation (and it only gets worse). She probably already knows about this site, but I will show it to her anyway, just in case!
Thank yall (texan for you all) so much for taking time to check it out and all of your positive comments - they really moved me! Composing is such a solitary activity and it so rewarding to finally share your creation with the world.
Diane, that is so great that you are sharing Witness with others! Zaadz is changing the world indeed :)
