This is actually an older piece I wrote a few years ago, but I finally spruced it up a bit and now the score will be sold and published through SibeliusMusic.com (you can view the original music score here). This recording was from the original performance at a concert of mine at Texas Tech University. It is a fairly simple piece but I had such a great time writing it. The performers really loved it and I received a lot of good feedback from the audience. Of all the music performed that day, this one seemed to have the biggest emotional connection with everyone there.
This is movement two from a planned three movement piano trio.
Beware, this is classical music and sounds quite a bit different than my other stuff :)

Oh I love this! How beautiful! Very romantic, modern, emotional… It sounds like it is telling a story about life.
Very moving. Nice graphic, too. I often find art music, wordless, to be more powerful than pop, sung music. This has it.
Nice writing. Who are the string players? I might know them, I am a pro violinist and I lived in TX for 3 years playing with Ft. Worth Symphony. Nice timbres and performance in General, well done.
Thanks David! The performers were Emily Watson - Violin; Danny Mar - Cello; and Clint Barrick - Piano. Emily I believe was originally from Wisconsin, but I know Danny is a native Texan.
Exquisite. I enjoyed this tremendously - are you actively at work on the other movements?
Thanks Tom! Right now I am working on some commercial stuff, but I do have plans to finish the other movements. Hopefully sooner than later :)
Wow. Beautiful . Thank you so much for sharing this.
